Olga Shishko

(Russia). Curator, researcher of media culture. Since 2015 she is senior curator of the Cinema and Media Arts Department at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. Founder of the Center of Culture and Art MediaArtLab, that researches different aspects contemporary art involving media technologies. She has curated numerous international events, festivals, and exhibitions, including MediaForum - Multimedia Art Festival (since 2000), one of the official programs of the Moscow International Film Festival; as well as the exhibition Transitland. Video art from Central and Eastern Europe for 20 years: from the fall of the Berlin Wall to 2009 (Moscow, 2010); Viewer, Gary Hill exhibition (Moscow, 2010), and Expanded Cinema (Moscow, 2011). She is the author and curator of the project Projections of the Avant-garde, that received the Innovation award, and the exhibition House of Impressions. Classic and Contemporary Media Art (Moscow, 2016) at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Art.
